Atoa advises consumers to not pay Atoa links sent from Facebook Marketplace merchants. Atoa merchants are strictly not permitted to use Atoa for payments on third-party marketplaces like Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, etc.
We advise consumers to exercise caution and only approve payments to merchants they know and trust. We require customers to tick the "I trust this merchant" tickbox and acknowledge they know the recipient before they can approve a payment.
Our Terms of Service require merchants to provide a high level of service and care to consumers. Any merchant found accepting payments via marketplaces will be immediately suspended from our service.
