My Pay by Bank settlement is delayed, why?

What is Settlement?

“Settlement” is when Atoa pays out funds to your nominated business bank account.

The timing of settlement depends on the payment method (Pay by Bank or card payments) and the terms agreed in your order form.

Pay by Bank (Instant Settlement)

  • Funds are typically received within one minute of payment confirmation.

  • In some cases, the customer’s bank may delay the payment for manual review (especially if it's a larger payment). If this happens, don't worry, your funds are safe, and both the customer and your staff will be notified once the funds have settled.

Pay by Bank (End of Day Payouts)

  • Funds are paid out the following day, usually around 03:00am GMT.

  • If funds have not arrived by 09:00am GMT, our Care Team will proactively contact you.

Accessing support on settlement issues

  • You can view settlement details by visiting the Card payouts section within your Atoa dashboard.
